Addie had a great photo shoot for her 18-month pictures at the Ringling Museum Gardens. Our friend Sarah took the photos again and they turned out gorgeous, as usual! A few of our favorites are below.

18-Month Stats
Addie is still a petite little thing! At her 18-month appointment her stats were:
Height: 31 inches (31st percentile)
Weight: 20.5 pounds (5th percentile)
Head Circ: 18.4 inches (58th percentile)
Dr. Sevilla said everything looked great. Addie was very scared him at this visit. She has never had a problem or any anxiety at all at the doctor's office, so I was very surprised that she was scared. Maybe she is old enough now to realize what is going on and doesn't like someone poking and proding at her. Thank goodness she didn't have any shots at this appointment or she probably would never want to go back to the doctor again! We are hoping her new play doctor kit will help get her used to all the doctor tools and help prepare her for the next visit.

Making Cookies on the Water Table
Addie has the best time playing with her sand and water table! She loves it when we turn on the handheld outdoor shower so she can spray water into the table - and at Dakota. Grandma helped her make "cookies" one day, and they even decorated them with flowers. Oh, and when Addie gets thirsty, she just takes a drink!
Happy Halloween!
Addie made the cutest little bumble bee on Halloween! She was so excited to dress up and wear her costume. We took her trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. First stop was Grandma Julie's house where Addie got a few candies and some Pringles (this girl loves salty food!). Then we went around to a few other houses. She was a little hesitant at first, but by the end of the night she was running up to doors and saying, "Treat!" She couldn't quite say the entire "trick or treat." We stopped at neighbor Jim's house where Addie got one of her favorite pretzle sticks, as well as Laura and Lindsay's house. Lindsay as usual had an entire bag of goodies for Addie - a Minnie Mouse princess hat, a Halloween Winnie the Pooh bear, some shoes, and a doll. Needless to say, Addie did not want to come home that night...she kept saying, "more, more, more" pointing to all the houses on our block. She also had her first taste of chocolate - a 100 Grand candy bar and loved it!
During the day we took Addie to the Sarasota Children's Garden for their Halloween festival. The Children's Garden has several small gardens based on children's books. Addie had a blast playing on everything, especially the Hobbit fort.

Pumpkin Festival
We took Addie to a Fall Pumpkin Festival today - what a fun time! Addie got to see lots of animals at the petting zoo, feed the goats, play at the playground, and roam through the pumpkins. We purchased vegetables for the week at the farm's market and had some fresh squeezed lemonade. A beautiful Sunday in Florida...although it didn't feel much like fall with the 80 degree weather.
