April 2013 Visit from Ellie

In April, Ellie and Teresa came for a visit to Florida.  They stayed at our house for a few days, and then spent a few days at Disney. We joined them for one overnight in a Disney hotel so the girls could have a slumber party - they absolutely love this!  We also went to the Princess Lunch at Epcot to celebrate Addie's early birthday with Ellie, since Ellie wouldn't be able to attend her actual birthday party.  Addie called her birthday with Ellie her "pretend birthday." Addie got to meet Mulan and Mary Poppins for the first time at Epcot. We also went to Magic Kingdom for a day. It was Fairy Week, so they got to meet some extra fairies, which was a great surprise!  Addie met Rosetta (her favorite), Vidia, and Iridessa for the first time. The girls also both got to play parts in the new Enchanted Tales with Belle attraction - Addie was Chip, and Ellie was Footstool.  They were so cute!

When Teresa and Ellie stayed at our house we had fun going to Mote, the Circus Park, O'Leary's, and mini golf. The girls also had fun playing slumber party - Ellie got Addie a foot spa set so they could give each other pedicures. Addie still loves to play "foot spa" and slumber party!  The girls also got a fun surprise visitor - Mandy came for dinner one night!  The girls had so much fun coloring, playing, and dancing with her :)



Addie still talks about Ellie almost everyday, and always asks when they will be able to see each other again. She even told me the other day that she doesn't want any other friends, just Ellie, even if she is just a pen pal. It's so sad! I'm hoping that once she starts school in the fall she will connect with some other girls and find some new friends.

Otherwise it's going to be very expensive for Teresa and I with regular visits back and forth between Texas and Florida!
